book report.

- You will need a computer(s) loaded with Kid
Pix, a source of clip art or photographs,
and a microphone. Arrange to have a media cart in the room for the final
presentations.

- Create a story board of at least six scenes,
including text and pictures.

- Conference with a peer and then teacher to edit and
refine their story.

- Complete a final draft on paper.

- Launch Kid Pix and
draw, paint or gather from Kid Pix library
or other clip art sources to create scenes to illustrate their story.

- Add their edited text to each frame.

- Import and arrange their scenes into a Kid
Pix slide show.

- Transfer presentation (saved as self-executing
file) to media cart computer and present their slide shows to the class.

- Using the microphone add audio to the student's
presentations, ie., music and/or voice.
