Feature Teacher: Paul Hunnewell has been the Physical Education teacher at CTMS since 1998 and taught a year at the old primary building with k-2 during 1997. Having been heavily involved in athletics during high school, Mr. Hunnewell decided to pursue a Physical Education Degree at Plymouth State College. He also has a Master's Degree from Cambridge College. One of his greatest achievements accured while he played American Legion Baseball in which his team one two Vermont State Championships. He is a proud father of two daughters and has been happily married for 15 years. On his free time, Mr. Hunnewell likes to get active; he enjoys hiking the white mountains, playing basketball, cross-country skiing, exercising and doing family outings with his family. He also likes to read, study and challenge himself to become a better father, husband, friend and brother.

Building Update Information   Due to safety reasons, effective Monday, January 30th the academic wings will be closed after 6 p.m.

 Central Tree Middle School Dance Policy    

     
  1. All school rules apply.
  2.    
  3. Cell phone use is allowed with permission by a chaperone at the main entrance of the building.
  4.    
  5. Once a student is admitted into the dance, the must stay inside the school until the end of the dance.
  6.    
  7. Students must bring in a note signed by a parent in order the leave the dance early.
  8.    
  9. Students must bring in a note signed by a parent in order to go home with a friend.
  10.    
  11. At dismissal, sixth and seventh grade students should get picked up along the sidewalk closest to the building. Eighth grade students will get escorted on the crosswalk to the parking lot parallel to the building.
  12.    
  13. Cars should pull up as close to the sidewalk as possible and move out of line after student is safely in the car.
  14.    
  15. For multiple children families, students will be dismissed with the oldest child. (i.e. Grade 6 sibling will be dismissed with grade 8 sibling.
