Content
The student will:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of various rhythmic patterns through :
movement, performance,
description , notation.

2. Demonstrate an understanding of syncopation.
3. Produce vocal tones using head voice.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of 2 and 3 part singing.
5. Identify the solfege syllables of the diatonic scale.
6. Identify intervals of a 3rd and 6th.
7. Apply knowledge of staccato, legato to performance.
8. Demonstrate an understanding of tempo cues:: moderato, accel., ritardando,; maestoso.
9. Identify classical forms/ genres:: symphonie, opera, concerto.


10. Identify changes in chords.
