Annual Geo Bee

Fourth and Fifth graders battled in their classrooms for a spot on the annual Geo Bee line-up. Classrooms went seven rounds to decide on two classroom winners. The National Geographic sponsors a National Geography Bee each year for students in grades 4 through 8. Davis Hill has a proud tradition of participating in this event. Sixteen classroom winners took the stage in January for preliminary and final round of competition in front of family and school community members. Students were asked about national and world geography including cities, countries, provinces, rivers, mountains, ocean, and more. The questions were tough this year and we congratulate all students that made it to the public competition.
