WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE

Dear Students and Parents,
     For those of you who chose not to purchase the School Kidz Kits from Staples, here is a list of the items we are asking each first grader to donate to our classrooms for the 2011 -2012 school year, if possible.
     Please do not label the supplies with your child’s name, as they will be used by all students in the class. 
     It would be extremely helpful if each student could donate the following items to his/ her class:
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 2 packages of Clorox wipes (any antibacterial brand for cleaning would be fine)
• 8 glue sticks
• 1 box of classic color thin line Crayola markers
• 1 box of classic color thick Crayola markers
• 1 box of Crayola colored pencils (12 count)
• 2 boxes of wooden Ticonderoga #2 pencils (12 count) sharpened
• 2 boxes of Crayola crayons (8 count only), Not Jumbo
• 3 pkgs. any size or color sticky notes
• hand held pencil sharpener

It would be extremely helpful if each boy could donate the following items to our class:
• 1 box of quart size Ziploc freezer bags

It would be extremely helpful if each girl could donate the following items to our class:
• 1 box of sandwich size Ziploc freezer bags

EVERY STUDENT WILL NEED A TWO POCKET FOLDER TO BRING MESSAGES, SCHOOL WORK, HOMEWORK ETC. TO AND FROM SCHOOL.  Please put your child’s name on the outside cover of the folder.

We break for a snack in the morning and afternoon, PLEASE be sure your child also brings a two nutritious snacks to school each day.
