Dear Parents,

Welcome to Fourth Grade!! I am delighted to have your child in my class, and I am sure that we will have a very successful year. I would greatly appreciate it if your child could please bring to school the following materials:

1.      2  #2 pencils (sharpened, if possible)

2.  A free reading book of their choice (Chapter book, please)

3.  A medium sized book bag (please no large rolling bags- our closet space is at a minimum and we have 26 students!)

Thanks so much!

Wish List: If anyone would possibly be able to send in the following it would be a terrific help in keeping our classroom quiet, clean and “sanitized!”

1. A container of tennis balls

2. Handy-wipes (disinfecting wipers in a container),

3. A box of tissues

Please do not send your child to school with Trapper Keepers or Magic Markers, gel pens, etc. The school will provide a regulation-sized box of crayons and one extra pencil for each student. Your child may keep extra colored pencils, markers, notebooks, etc. at home for “At- Home Projects” that will be assigned throughout the year.

Children should “brush-up” on mastery of their multiplication facts on a daily basis for the next few weeks. Use of flashcards, Game 24, dice and card games are great ways in which to review facts! Thanks for any help you may be able to give your child in order to achieve complete “Multiplication Facts Mastery” by October!!

I look forward to a productive and rewarding year with your child.

                                                            Sincerely,

Mrs. Nancy Paul
