The Dawson SIMCO periodically conducts a Parent Satisfaction survey.  The intent of the survey is to give parents/guardians a chance to rate how they feel the school is performing, as well as voice any concerns, dissatisfactions and/or appreciations concerning all aspects of Dawson Elementary School.  SIMCO uses the results of this survey to direct the administration’s efforts in improving the school.

The survey is conducted anonymously, and is being sent to each family via the youngest child in the family.  The results will be collated and shared with you at the end of the school year.  The results will also be posted on the Dawson web site.   If you find that there is an item which was not addressed in this survey, please feel free to add it to the “Additional Comments” section at the end.  If you rate an item poorly, please comment on it so that we can better understand the rating.  Also note that you may use the “Additional Comment” lines at the end of the survey if you need more space due to the fact that you have more than one child at Dawson.

The survey is being distributed to K-5 parents  and may be returned with in the report card envelope or a sealed envelope, marked Parent Satisfaction Survey, no later than Feb. 12, 2010.  Your opinions truly matter – and will be taken into full consideration.  Thank you in advance for participating. You are helping to improve your child’s education.
