WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE

Dear Future Parents and Students,

Welcome to third grade.  We look forward to working with you throughout the 2007-2008 school year.  There are a few things each child will need in the fall.  The following items should come in with the child's name written on them in case the item gets lost.

    1.  One composition notebook (Marble cover type with no wire binding).

    2.  A pair of Fiskar scissors.

    3.   One box of colored pencils.

    4.  One box of thin markers.

    5.  Two or three pencils.

    6.  Eraser.  (Block or pencil cap)

    7.  Zippered pencil case.

    8.  A two pocket folder to bring messages, school work, homework etc. to and from school.

Please do not bring a Trapper Keeper or large pencil boxes as they are too large to keep in a desk.  Also, please do not bring in large markers or bottles of glue.

It would be extremely helpful if each student could donate the following items to his/her classroom:

    1. Two boxes of tissues.

    2.  A roll of paper towels.

    3.  Glue sticks

    4.  Clorox wipes (Any other brand of antibacterial wipes would be fine.)

    5.  A box of small Ziploc bags.

    6.  A box of large Ziploc bags.
