 The mission of the Wachusett Regional High School is committed to an educational process that fosters independence and responsibility in our students. By offering diverse, challenging, academic programs and rich co-curricular activities, WRHS strives to provide students with the skills
and knowledge to achieve their potential as life-long learners.

  • Congratulations to all the members of Concert Chorus, Green Band, Chorale, String Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Choir and Symphony Orchestra for an outstanding performance at last nights concert. The many soloists that performed are also to be congratulated for their great performances including Catie Canale’s solo harp performance with the Chamber Orchestra. Please join us tonight for what promises to be another excellent concert this evening at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
  • Girls Track – Please bring $5 to the captains for the coach’s gift.
  • Girls tennis beat Fitchburg 5-0.
  • NHS going to Martha’s Vineyard should report to school at 6 a.m. tomorrow.
  • The Varsity Baseball team lost to St. Peter Marian by a score of 13-4.
  • Seniors – see Mrs. Scott in Guidance to pay your transcript fees.
  • Poetry Club – last meeting of the year next Tuesday in C214.
  • Seniors – Don’t forget to apply for the Koplik scholarship if your MCAS scored were proficient and advanced. Deadline is May 23.
  • Sophomores – MCAS testing will begin next Wednesday. Sophomores will test in the same rooms as last time and testing will begin period 2 on Wednesday and Period 1 on Thursday. Room assignments are posted in guidance and the cafeteria.
  • NHS members who signed up to volunteer at the Food Pantry on Thursday night and Saturday morning see Erin O’Donnell if you have questions about timing or directions.
  • The Mountaineer Volunteers are having a build your own cupcake sale on Friday. All mountaineer volunteers past and present members should please remember to bake cupcakes and bring them unfrosted to either Mrs. Paradise’s or Mrs. Donelson’s room on Friday morning.
  • Massachusetts Club – Sunday’s bike trip will leave WRHS at 9 a.m. You must bring your own bike. Pick up permission forms in front of the main office.
  • Sign up now for the May Driver Education Course. It starts on Monday May 19. There are only 2 more opportunities to take Drive Education at the High School this year! Sign up sheets are on the table in front of the main office. Students are reminded that the Registry requirements as of September 1st mandate that you must be 16 years old, have a current Learner’s Permit and a parent must attend a2 hour orientation before you complete the course.
  • The seventh annual CRA Streetball Classic. Only student of the district can participate. There are teams of three and each team costs $30. See Tom Long, Ty Wiseman, Brian Ritter or Mike Bates for sign up sheets.
