Attention parents: when sending in notes to the office, please be sure to include your child's first and last name. Parents and children often have different last names and parental signatures can be difficult to read. Including both names helps to eliminate any confusion.

Attention parents/guardians of 7th grade students: please click here to read a letter from Superintendent McCall regarding criteria for Grade 8 placement in Algebra classes.

Important information regarding morning extra help - please read!

Attention all students and parents: morning extra help does not begin until 7:30. In fact, some teachers do not start their extra help until 7:40 or 7:45. Students should come into the office to see if their teacher is available. If not, students must wait outside until their teacher is ready for students, because there is no supervision available inside the building. With the onset of cold weather, students should dress appropriately for waiting outside.

Parents: It's flu season! Please click here for an important fact sheet regarding the flu and when to keep your child home. By adhering to these guidelines, you can help us prevent the spread of the flu and flu like symptoms here at Mountview. We want everyone here to stay healthy, so please read!

As of April 7, we will be in need of a morning crossing guard to safely cross students in front of school on Shrewsbury Street from 7:30-8:10 each morning. If you are interested or would like more information, please call principal Erik Githmark at 508-829-5577 or by email at Erik_Githmark@wrsd.net

Mountview's graduation date has been officially set! Graduation will take place on Friday, June 19th at 6pm in the WRHS gym.

Attention 8th Graders: if you are not attending WRHS in the fall, please stop by the office to pick up a final release of records form. If you are attending Monty Tech next year, please stop by the office for a specific release of records form.

Attention Grade 8 parents: please click here to download a letter from Principal Githmark that contains a schedule of the end of year activities lined up for all 8th grade students.

Students should report to school at least 30 minutes before their scheduled concert time. All concerts will take place in the Mountview Cafeteria. Concert attendance is mandatory and counts towards each student's grade for the term. If a student does not attend their concert, an alternate assignment will be given to the student to complete. Please note: the only viable excuse for missing a concert would be a death in the family or severe illness (a doctor's note required). All other conflicts will not be excused. If a student is absent from school on the day of their concert, he/she CANNOT attend the concert that night and would need to complete the alternate assignment.

As for concert attire, gentlemen will wear a button down shirt, dress pants and dress shoes. Neckties are encouraged. Ladies may wear a dress or skirt that meets Mountview's school dress code or dress slacks, and dress shoes. No one shall wear jeans, shorts, or sneakers. All students must follow the school's dress code policy.
