Attention parents: when sending in notes to the office, please be sure to include your child's first and last name. Parents and children often have different last names and parental signatures can be difficult to read. Including both names helps to eliminate any confusion.

Attention parents/guardians of 7th grade students: please click here to read a letter from Superintendent McCall regarding criteria for Grade 8 placement in Algebra classes.

Wachusett Mountain is no longer using paper registration forms to join their Ski Club program. All registrations will now be done on line. Please click here to access an information sheet on how to register for Mountview's Ski Club. Don't miss out!

Important information regarding morning extra help - please read!

Attention all students and parents: morning extra help does not begin until 7:30. In fact, some teachers do not start their extra help until 7:40 or 7:45. Students should come into the office to see if their teacher is available. If not, students must wait outside until their teacher is ready for students, because there is no supervision available inside the building. With the onset of cold weather, students should dress appropriately for waiting outside.

Attention Mountview: the Mitten Tree has arrived!  Please hang all gently used coats, hats, scarves and mittens on the Mitten Tree located in the front lobby. The Kids in the Kommunity will be sure to pass them along to people who really need them. To all Kids in the Kommunity members: please see Ms. Hughes today if you're interested in helping with this clothing drive to the DaVinci School. We want to send our first deliver of clothes by the end of this week.

The holidays are fast approaching! Attention Mountview: if you receive a new phone for the holidays, please consider donating your used phone to Cell Phones for Soldiers. A box will be displayed in the front lobby next to the Mitten Tree. All used cell phones will help soldiers overseas to call their loved ones back here in the states.

Help support Mountview's PTA through the My Coke Rewards Program! Click here to print out an information sheet on the program. There is no need to log onto the Coke website to donate points - just put your caps and box ends in a bag and drop them off in the PTA mailbox in the Mountview office. It couldn't be any easier!

The PTA is also collecting empty bags from any Lay's snacks and empty pouches from any type of pouch drink, not just Capri Sun and Honest Kids!

Please support our CLAP Program (Coke, Lays, and Pouches) and help the PTA earn money and school supplies!

Homework Requests

FYI, homework requests are not done until a student has been absent for three days. Please request the homework when you call your child in sick on the morning of the third day. Many teachers post assignments on their websites, so it is a good idea to check there first whenever your child is absent.
