Eighth grade artwork: Portraits- Students created paired portraits with pencil and assorted paper. Click here for pictures. Sculptures - Bent wire coat hangers gave inspiration for recognizable three dimensional objects. Wires were covered with nylon stockings and painted with gesso. Front, back, top and two side views were drawn as preliminary ideas for acrylic, painted sculptural forms. Click here for pictures.
Seventh grade artwork: Tempera Paintings - Students created flower tempera paintings in the style of Georgia O'Keefe using complimentary pictures. Click here for pictures.
