WRITERS' WORKSHOP:
Storybirds: Students have been assigned 3 peers to give revising feedback to through the discussion/comment feature on the website. Checklists with criteria (distributed on Friday, 1/6) are due Thursday, 2/2.
READERS' WORKSHOP:
Students are exploring poetry and creating booklets titled "Winter Wonders." These booklets highlight figurative language and poetic devices to create vivid imagery. Booklets are due on Monday, 2/6. (I usually do not have Monday due dates, but because of the field trip there will not be classes on Friday.)
Word Study:
Spelling Lesson 13 and Vocabulary Lesson 26 were due Tuesday, 1/31.
Spelling Lesson 14 and Vocabulary Lesson 27 are due Tuesday, 2/7.
TESTS ON THESE LESSONS WILL BE ADMINISTERED ON WEDNESDAY, 2/8.
