First Lego League
First Lego League (FLL) and Junior First Lego League (JrFLL) is an introduction to young learners of real world engineering challenges. The students are the creators and problem solvers. Teamwork is a necessity! A new worldwide challenge is released every year. The 2009 challenge was called SmartMove. The 2010 challenge is BodyForward, where engineering meets medicine. Students will create a Lego based robot according to the rules and will travel to competitions around the state, or farther if their imaginations take them there! Paxton Center School has formed four JrFLL teams and one FLL team.
To date, there are 8,123 teams registered in the United States and Canada.
