Lego Club & First Lego League
First Lego League (FLL) and Junior First Lego League (JrFLL) is an introduction to young learners of real world engineering challenges. The students are the creators and problem solvers. Teamwork is a necessity! A new worldwide challenge is released every year. The 2012 challenge is called Food Factor, where engineering meets "keeping food safe". Students will create a Lego based robot according to the rules and will travel to competitions around the state, or farther if their imaginations take them there! Paxton Center School had four JrFLL teams in 2009-10 and one Middle School Lego Robotics Club in 2009-10 & 2010-2011.
