Eighth grade students have finished their stained glass windows as part of a cross curricular unit between humanities and art with emphasis on cathedrals and illiteration. Click here to view the art gallery.

Fifth grade students have completed a cross curricular project between art and language arts. Click here to view the art gallery.

Previously students in Mrs. Bennett's Art classes used fiber (yarn, fabric, felt) to create art projects ranging from woven mats and finger puppets, to collages, bowls and pillows. Click here to view the art gallery.

In an earlier lesson, eighth grade students were involved in a cooperative lesson with art and science. Each student focused on an organism from the Illig's Pond ecosystem and created a collage using four different art media. Click here for pictures.

Previously, Mrs. Bennett's art classes had been focusing on a Primary Color Lesson. Students learned and demonstrated how colors combine to create new colors. Middle school students also added curvilinear and straight lines to their projects.
