Mathletes
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Mrs. Bik and Mr. Wolosz would like to welcome your child to Mathletes. Practices will be held on most Wednesdays from 3:00 to 3:45 PM. This year our team will compete in six Wachusett Regional School District Math Competitions. In an effort to keep it simple we are including, all competition dates in this letter. All students who regularly attend Mathlete practice at PCS will be placed on a team for all Wachusett competitions
On the day of the competition, students will travel to and from the competition by school bus. You will generally need to pick your child up at PCS no later than 5:30 PM. If the pick-up time changes for any reason, we will let you know. If for some reason you will not be picking your child up, please inform us who will be taking your child home.
We will be asking parents to supply refreshments for the home meet in January.
Lastly, we sometimes place competition photos of Mathletes on the PCS website. Please be sure to return the photo permission form sent home at the beginning of the year so we know your preference regarding this matter.
Please indicate on the attached permission slip if your child has permission to participate in these events:
1. October 17, 2011 WRSD Competition at Mount View Middle School
2. December 12, 2011 WRSD Competition at Thomas Prince School
3. January 23, 2012 WRSD Competition at Paxton Center School
4. February 13, 2012 WRSD Competition at Chocksett Middle school
5. March 19, 2012 WRSD Competition TBA
6. April 30, 2012 WRSD Competition at Wachusett Regional High School
