From Mr. Sullivan... May is National Fitness Month. We are trying to encourage our Paxton Center School students to be active this month. Most of our students are active already. This is the opportunity to embrace and appreciate these physical activities. Your child should receive either a monthly fitness log (grades 1-4) or a weekly log (grades 5-8). During this month please have your child record the days ( frequency), time and type of physical activity. The students in grades 5-8 will also record the intensity of the physical activity (easy, medium or hard). The students in grades 1-4 will return the completed fitness log on Monday June 2, 2008. The students in grades 5-8 will bring back their logs on a weekly basis. Please feel free to join your child in his/her effort.
