Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of Thomas
Prince Students,
I
hope you have enjoyed your summer vacation. Class
assignments for your child/children are
listed on the back of this letter.
All class assignments are final. Other
important concerns and changes that all parents should be aware of are
as
follows:
- School hours - 8:25-2:55. Parents are not to drop off students before 8:10 AM.
- New
kindergarten hours: 8:25-11:25 and 12:00-2:55.
- Students will enter
the building at 8:15 and must be in homeroom by 8:25 AM. Students are only allowed 3 tardies per term before
after school detentions are assigned.
- All volunteers must
pass a CORI check before they can work in the school. If
you already have a
volunteer badge you do not need to reapply (they are good for 3 years)
- We have peanut/nut
free zones in the nurse’s office, certain classrooms, and certain tables in the cafeteria.
- No skateboards or
skateboarding allowed on school grounds.
- All school notices
will be sent home on Wednesdays.
- Please check the
District’s web site (www.wrsd.net)
and click on Thomas Prince for updated information throughout the year. Check there for revised bus
routes.
- The cost of milk will
be $.40 and lunch will be $2.50.
- French Music Co. will
meet with Instrumental Music students and parents on Thurs. Sept. 6th
at 5:30 PM.
- Curriculum
Nights will be
listed in the school calendar.

we move into this new school year, Mrs. Baer and I look forward to

all families in a cooperative manner to support the District’s
