During snack time throughout the rest of the month of February Think Globally, Act Locally will be collecting money for the Heifer Project.  The Heifer Project is an international organization that provides livestock for families in need around the world.  The livestock provide food and drink as well as a source of money for families.  In addition, the families are obligated to pass on the offspring of the livestock to their neighbors.  Please donate to the Heifer Project by giving your donation to your teacher during snack time.  The teacher that raises the most money will be able to choose which animals to buy with the funds raised by Wachusett!

Mountaineer Volunteers is holding a food drive until February 17 for the Wachusett Food Pantry so bring in all your non-perishables to donate.
