The Wachusett Regional High School Library Media Center provides students and staff with access to materials and resources to meet their educational, professional, and personal needs. Our resources represent a diversity of experiences, skills, and innovative technologies to help students become lifelong users of information.
The new facility opened in September 2006 and has two computer labs, a periodicals section, a professional reading room, and a large open space for reading, meetings, and classroom use. The monthly School Committee meetings are taped and broadcasted live from the Library Media Center.
The Library Media Center staff works cooperatively with classroom teachers in planning and providing units of study to integrate information skills with classroom content. Our holdings are accessible through Alexandria, our online catalog, through the website. We hold over 21,000 items including books, magazines, videos, DVDs, art prints, pamphlets, and audio books.
