Extra help sessions for the Science MCAS will be offered after school every Tuesday and Thursday now through May 31st. More information can be found on the Wachusett MCAS webpage http://www.wrsd.net/wrhs/mcas.cfm

Attention Juniors: Are you interested in becoming a Senior Mentor? Please check your class page on the WRHS website for the application. Applications are due by 11:05 on Friday in the upper school office. IF you have any questions, see Mrs. DeSimone or Mrs. Montiverdi in B201.

Juniors interested in purchasing a parking pass for the month of June must submit the following information to Karen LaPierre in the upper school office by June 1st:

  • parking application
  • copy of updated car insurance
  • copy of car registration
  • copy of valid drivers license
  • check for $20 made payable to WRSD

These passes will allow juniors to park on campus from Monday, June 4th through the end of the school year, Friday, June 22nd. Please note, juniors must be in good standing, having any unpaid parking tickets paid in full prior to receiving a June parking pass. One final reminder, all junior drivers must still purchase daily parking passes through June 1st in order to park on campus.

Feeling stressed out because of exams or graduation? Stop by the Poetry Club every Tuesday in room C212 to unwind and listen to and write poetry!

Any student who received an award on awards night for being a CLA and did not attend can come get their award from Mrs. Bosco in rooms E113 or B113.

Attention all Mountaineer Peers, there will be a Bowling activity next Tuesday, May 29th after school until 3:30. Light refreshments will be provided. The yearbook photo will also occur during this meeting.

Wachusett is proud to announce a new club offering for next fall: The WRHS Civics Club. If you are curious about your role in our democratic society and wish to learn more about the political process, consider joining the Civics Club. The club will consist of a variety of simulations, seminars, student-driven activities and an optional week-long travel program to Washington D.C. in the spring. The Washington D.C. trip is open to any interested students, not just Civics Club members. To hear more about the club and the travel program, come to the orientation meeting scheduled for next Thursday, May 31st after school in room B-209. Please see Mr. Jourdain or Mr. Smith with questions.

SENIORS ARE REMINDED that all obligations to the school must be satisfied before graduation tickets may be picked up. Graduation tickets will be distributed during final exam week. Obligations include Book Bills, Media Center, Cafeteria, Guidance Transcript fee, Naviance updates, parking tickets, etc. Please check with the various departments to see what/if you owe.

Seniors pursuing a degree in visual art or a visual art related field - The Nancy Gregory Scholarship, The Erica D'Erico scholarship and The Graphic Arts Scholarship are all due on Wednesday, May 25th. The applications are available on Naviance. Please see your art teacher or guidance for any questions.

Sign up now for the Driver Ed Class that will take place May 29th – June 19th, 2018. http://www.wachusettdriversed.com The classroom sessions will be Monday through Friday May 29th – June 18th 2:30pm - 4:45 pm (no class on June 7), and June 19th 12:30pm - 2:45pm, in room H201. The parent meeting will be May 24th 6:30pm - 8:30pm in room H103/105. Accelerated Class Monday-Friday August 6th-10th 8:30am-3:00pm at WRHS.
