- The Boys' Basketball team improved their record to 15 and 4 last night with a 68-65 win over Doherty. Junior Sam Dion exploded for a career high 37 points and Senior Jake Serafini added 8 points, 8 rebound in the victory. The team's final regular season game will be at home Monday night. Come out and support the team on Senior Night!
Any girl interested in trying out for Girls Lacrosse this spring should attend an informational meeting in the faculty dining room after school on Wednesday February 28th.
Attention Mountaineer Volunteers. There will be a meeting after school on Monday February 26th. Please try to attend.
There will be a meeting for all those interested in trying out for WRHS Boys' Tennis after the school break on Tuesday, February 27th at 2:30 pm in the Athletic Conference Room located across from the staircase to the gym.

Please be reminded to get your deposit and registration in today for the SAT prep course that starts March 3rd. The course meets every Wednesday for seven weeks to help better prepare you for the SAT. Please check see Mrs. Lefebvre or Ms. Goddard with questions.
Please take a look in the Gallery across from the main office at the artwork created by Art Foundations classes and the Commercial Art class. There are sculptures, book cover designs, and mural designs. See if you can tell what class each mural was created for!
Students, the scheduling process for next year is currently underway! Please log in to your PowerSchool account to check out the classes recommended by your teachers, and to choose your requests for next year. Visit the guidance scheduling webpage for more information. The scheduling screens will remain open until the Friday of February break. See your guidance counselor with any questions.
Seniors, the 50th day count down party will be Thursday March 1st. Sign-ups for posters will be this week during lunches as well as the weeks following February vacation. Your class dues of $100 must be paid via check to WRSD in order to participate. Sign-ups will be on a first come first serve basis. We hope to see you all there!
Save the date! Thursday, March 8th is the annual Booster Club Sponsored Volleyball Tournament! Get your teams together now! Sign-up sheets will be available after February break.
Attention students! Your favorite StuCo event from last year is back! Mr. Wachusett will be held on Saturday May 5th. If you would like to be considered as a contestant, registration forms will be available in the main and upper school offices. Signed nomination forms are due by Wednesday, February 28th to your administrator.
Attention writers and artists: After a brief hiatus, Rhubarb Pie, the Wachusett literary magazine, will be making a glorious return. It’s going to be huge. It’s going to be great, really great - probably the greatest literary magazine ever written! But we need your help. Please submit your original writing or visual art pieces by emailing Mr. Hartshorn or Mrs. Jarrett (email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org) or by leaving a copy in the Rhubarb Pie submission box in the Media Center. Submissions should include your name, grade, and the name of your English teacher.
The Art Department offers three scholarships to qualified senior art students. Applications for The Graphic Arts Scholarship, The Gregory Scholarship and the Erica D'Errico Scholarship are available on Naviance. See your art teacher for more information.

Sign up now for the Driver Ed Class that will take place February 19th-23rd, 2018. http://www.wachusettdriversed.com The February classroom session will be at Wachusett Regional High School 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day in room H103/105. The parent meeting will be on February 12th 6:30pm to 8:30pm in room H201. The March 12th -28th Monday-Friday after school from 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and March 29th 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in room H201. The parent meeting is scheduled for March 12th 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in room H201.
