Congratulations to Belle McNamara and Chris Van Liew for being selected to participate in the All-Eastern festival choirs in April. The festival will be held in Pittsburgh with selected students in the eastern division states from Maine down to Maryland.
The Brian Wallace Alumni Fun Run/Walk will be held this Saturday Nov. 24th at 10:00am. All proceeds will go directly to the local emergency food pantry or to the boys' and girls' XC teams! Please see the front office for a registration form, or just show up that day!
This Saturday November 24th the high school cafeteria will be open for any member of the Class of 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm for yearbook signing and "catching-up" with WRHS classmates. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided. Yearbooks can be picked up at that time, or in the main office this Monday through Wednesday from 7:00am-3:00pm.
All National Honor Society candidates are reminded that applications are due by 2:10 today. You may turn it in to either the main office or into the upper school office in B201. Late applications will not be accepted.
The WRHS Softball program will be having a meeting next Monday, November 26th at 2:20 in the cafeteria for those interested in trying out for the 2019 season. Please see Courtney Lanpher, Reagan Lowe, Emily Todorov or Abigail Simes with any questions.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube? Maybe you are one of the few that already knows how? Whether you have never touched one or are a world-class speed-cuber Rubik's Cube Club is the place for you! Come join us for our first ever meeting next Monday November 26th in C116!"
The Classic Car Club with Mark Wilde will meet next Tuesday, November 27th, during the 40 min activity period. You must sign up in the upper school office to receive a pass to attend.
Hackey Sack Club will meet next Tuesday November 27th during activity period. Now if you should say to yourself, "But I'm not really good at Hackey Sack," then Mr. Chevrette says, "Why then, you'll fit right in!" See him in E108 for a pass to come.
There will be a Blood Drive next Thursday, November 29th in the gym. Anyone interested in donating blood can sign up at lunch with an Honor Society member. You must be at least 17 years of age, or be 16 with parental consent. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Montiverdi in B201.
There will be a DECA meeting after school today in H103/105 where we will start preparing for the regional competition.
There will be NO Dungeons and Dragons club this afternoon. Go home, have Thanksgiving. We will continue campaigning after break. No DND club today.
A reminder for seniors that all blue regular application transcript request forms are due to your school counselor by December 3rd.

Accelerated Driver Education classes will be held during December recess Wednesday through Sunday on December 26th-30th from 8:30am-3:00pm. The parent meeting will be held on Saturday December 22nd from 9:00am-11:00am. For more detailed information on the classes and to sign up please visit the WRHS Driver Education website.
