Art Department

The WRHS Art Program offers students three full-year introductory courses. Once students completed one of these introductory courses, he/she are provided with three routes of additional art study. One route allows students to enroll in a variety of semester electives that explore art forms and develop skills. A second route is designed for the serious art student and provides a rigorous sequential experience that culminates in the completion of an Advanced Placement portfolio. The third route allows students who have completed Graphics Communications 1 to enroll in advanced graphics, photography, and illustration courses. The Art Program Guide gives a full description of Art courses, sequences and prerequisites.

WRHS students must earn five credits in the arts to graduate.
