For more than 35 years the WRHS Driver Education Program has trained thousands of responsible, cautious drivers. Any person who lives in the Wachusett district, is at least 16 years old, and who has obtained a learner’s permit may enroll in the course.

Classes are held approximately six times during the school year. The next round of classes begins May 14. The program has two components: 30 hours of classroom instruction and 18 hours of on-the-road instruction and observation. Parents/Guardians are required to attend a two-hour “parent curriculum” session. In this round of classes, the evening parent session is scheduled for May 16.

The program cost is $650, and payment is due at the end of the first week of class. Students sign up by printing out and completing the Driver Education Registration Form. The completed form should be turned in to the main office of Wachusett Regional High School. The form may be turned in at any time, and students will be notified of the next available class. Registration forms are also available outside the main office.
