Mass Literacy: Open Access Professional Development (OAPL)
Mass Literacy is a statewide effort to empower educators with the evidence-based practices for literacy that all students need. To advance Mass Literacy, DESE has just launched Mass Literacy: OAPL — professional learning opportunities in early literacy topics to Massachusetts educators and higher education faculty, delivered by highly qualified local and national providers. Choose from a range of vetted options — all at no cost to educators!
OAPL offers a curated selection of professional learning courses, both synchronous and asynchronous, focused on early literacy. Massachusetts educators who qualify can enroll in these courses for free and will also receive a stipend upon completing the course(s) they choose.
