K-8 In-Service Half Day District-Wide Sessions
September 28, 2022
We are pleased to present information on a few district-wide professional development offerings for the upcoming September 28th In-Service Half Day. There will also be building-based sessions, so it is important to get clarification from your building principal before registering for any district-wide offerings.
* Directions for how to sign up for a course in Vector Solutions (formerly TeachPoint) can be found by following this link. Course registration in Vector Solutions is now open, please register no later than September 26th.
* Please have your laptop/charger and earbuds available (if attending any virtual sessions).
* Meeting links and any attachments/handouts will be in Vector Solutions/TeachPoint (directions attached) by Monday, September 26th.
- Grades K-5 teachers who teach Math (including Special Education and ELL teachers) will participate in Eureka Math training, joining virtually from their schools from 1:15-3:00 PM.
- Gr. 6-8 teachers of Math (including Special Education and ELL teachers) will participate in Reveal Math training, joining virtually from their schools from 12:45-2:45 PM.
- Gr. 6-8 teachers of Science and Technology Engineering will participate in Inspire Science training, joining virtually from their schools from 12:45-2:45 PM.
- K-8 Art teachers who are not already committed to meeting at their schools, are invited to meet at Mayo School to collaborate with other Art teachers.
- K-8 Music teachers who are not already committed to meeting at their schools, are invited to meet at Dawson Elementary School with other Music teachers.
- K-8 Physical Education teachers not already committed to meeting at their schools, are invited to meet Central Tree Middle School with other Physical Education teachers.
