ESSER III Grant
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, Public Law 117-2, was enacted on March 11, 2021. The ARP Act provides additional funding for school districts to respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Education portion of ARP is known as the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER III). The period of performance for ESSER III funds is through 9/30/2024. In compliance with this federal funding program, here you will find a link to the District’s FY22 ESSER III Fund Use Implementation Plan.
The District is using ESSER III funds for extended school day learning opportunities to address student learning gaps, educational technology for students, software that enables teachers to address student learning loss, and mental health services from Interface. Funds are also being used to improve district preparedness and response efforts to COVID-19, including improvements in the heating and ventilation system at the Early Childhood Center.
