Family Medical Leave (FMLA)

The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 entitles eligible employees to take up to twelve (12) weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave in a twelve-month period for specific family and medical reasons.

Maternity Leave (MMLA)

The Massachusetts Maternity Leave Act requires employers with six or more employees to provide full-time female employees with up to eight weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Information regarding MMLA can be found at the left (MMLA FAQ).
